Limitations

Low Speed Only: Without cage guidance, steel balls contact and rub against each other. High-speed operation will cause severe heat, abnormal wear and bearing seizure.

Limited Axial Bearing Capacity: The outer ring ball filling slot breaks the complete raceway contour, so the bearing cannot withstand large or pure axial thrust loads.

Higher Operating Friction: Compared with standard caged bearings, it has larger running torque and higher operating temperature rise.

A full complement deep groove ball bearing is a special type of deep groove ball bearing without a cage. It is filled with the maximum possible number of steel balls inside the raceway. This design abandons the traditional retainer structure to achieve higher load capacity.

2. When should I choose full complement bearings instead of standard bearings?

Choose full complement bearings if your working condition is low speed + heavy radial load + frequent impact + long service life requirement.

If your application requires high speed, low noise and low friction, standard caged deep groove ball bearings are more suitable.
