FAQ

 

1. What is the difference between 719 thin-wall series and conventional 7000 series bearings?

The 719 series features thinner width and smaller outer diameter under the same bore size, with a more compact overall structure. It saves 20%–30% installation space compared with standard 7000 series bearings, making it exclusive for miniaturized, lightweight and high-precision spindle equipment. Though slim, it maintains excellent dynamic rigidity and high-speed stability, which cannot be replaced by ordinary standard bearings.

 

2. Why is hybrid ceramic structure better than full steel bearing for micro high-speed spindles?

Ordinary full steel bearings suffer from obvious centrifugal force, severe heat generation and easy thermal deformation at ultra-high speed, which causes precision attenuation and early failure. In contrast, silicon nitride ceramic balls are only 40% weight of steel balls, effectively reducing centrifugal load and friction heat. Meanwhile, ceramic material has low thermal expansion and insulation properties, solving the core pain points of full steel bearings such as high-speed thermal drift and VFD current corrosion, and greatly improving operational stability.

 

3. What is the advantage of 15° contact angle (C type) for micro spindles?

15° contact angle is the optimal universal angle for high-speed micro spindles. Compared with 25° contact angle bearings (focus on high rigidity), it has lower rolling friction and higher limiting speed; compared with smaller contact angle products, it provides better axial load capacity and running stability. It achieves a perfect balance of high speed, rigidity and precision, fully meeting the demands of micro milling, drilling and grinding processing.

 

4. Why choose 2RSD non-contact double seals for micro spindle bearings?

Different from contact seals with large friction resistance, 2RSD non-contact seals adopt gap sealing design, producing almost no friction heat at high speed and not affecting the ultimate speed of the spindle. It can effectively block fine dust and impurities in the air, prevent internal grease leakage and deterioration, maintain long-term clean lubrication inside the bearing, and extend maintenance cycle and service life.

 

5. What cage material is T type and what are its advantages?

T type represents phenolic resin window-type cage. This material has excellent high temperature resistance, low friction and vibration absorption performance. It can reduce collision and friction noise between ceramic balls and cage during high-speed operation, avoid cage deformation under long-term high temperature, and keep the bearing running smoothly and silently for a long time, which is very suitable for silent precision micro equipment.
